Reading Pop Culture/My Skill

A skill that I have learned over the past couple of years was how do drive any manual vehicle.  Via a motorcycle and car.  This is a skill that I believe that a lot of people don't know how to do both a car and motorcycle.  With both of these skills the only way to acquire the ability to do it is to practice.  For the car I had to learn thanks to my parents. They bought me a truck that was a stick shit and I had to go back to school at WKU that same night. So it was either learn how to drive or miss my fraternity meeting.  It wasn't to difficult. The hardest part is just getting a feel for the gas and the clutch. It is like that with any manual vehicle for they all have there own feel to them. But within a couple of hours anyone can learn how to drive a stick shit.  As for the motorcycle it was just for fun. I actually learned a little on my grandfathers bio but the majority of the information I learned was from the intro safety class that is offered.  This class is just like the driving classes one takes when they are 15-16 years old. Only difference is its half a day in the classroom and a day and a half out riding.  This wasn't to difficult at all. It helped a lot that I already knew how to drive a manual car so it made the transition much easier than someone who never drove a manual.

The best way these skills be applied to my writing is that it is hard to do at first but with plenty of practice and determination to get to the final product you can do anything. So I need to be able to keep chugging along and have an open mind to learn more about writing.
